Consistently ranked as Canada’s most reputable financial technology brand, Interac is deeply embedded in the daily lives of Canadians.\nWho You Will Work With:\nThe vacant Business Systems Analyst role will report to Leader Process and Operational Excellence as part of a team providing operational oversight for the Real Time Rail payments systems\nWhat You Will Do:\nUnderstand business needs\nMeet with stakeholders to understand problems, objectives, and desired outcomes\n\nUnderstand business processes, policies, and controls\n\nGather and document requirements\nConduct interviews, workshops, and process reviews\n\nTranslate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements\n\nWrite user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, and requirements specifications\n\nAnalyze business processes\nMap current-state (“as-is”) and design future-state (“to-be”) processes\n\nIdentify gaps, redundancies, manual work, and opportunities for automation\n\nRecommend process improvements\n\nTranslate between business and IT\n\nExplain technical concepts to business stakeholders\n\nExplain business requirements to developers, architects, and technical teams\n\nResolve ambiguity ensuring everyone has the same understanding of the requirement\n\nDefine system solutions\nHelp determine how systems should support business processes.\n\nEvaluate configuration vs. customization vs. new functionality.\n\nSupport development and implementation\nClarify requirements for developers\n\nReview proposed solutions against business requirements.\n\nParticipate in sprint planning, backlog refinement and demos\n\nHelp manage scope and requirements changes.\n\nTesting and quality assurance\nDevelop or review test scenarios and acceptance criteria\n\nSupport system/integration testing and UAT.\n\nValidate that the delivered solution meets requirements\n\nHelp investigate and resolve defects.\n\nStakeholder management\nFacilitate workshops and decision-making\n\nManage conflicting requirements and priorities.\n\nObtain stakeholder approval/sign-off.\n\nDocumentation and governance\nMaintain requirements, process diagrams, decision logs, and system documentation\n\nWhat You Bring:\n3 to 4 years of experience working as a Business Systems Analyst\n\nEligibility to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a full-time capacity\n\nWhat We’re Offering:\nThe hiring range for this position is $120,000 - $135,000,and you will also be eligible for our short-term incentive plan.
