debugging, and code review.\nWrite clear, maintainable, and well-tested code.\nWork primarily in a Linux environment using GCC and common command-line development tools.\nCollaborate closely with other developers and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver practical solutions.\nWhat we’re looking for\nRequired\nGood programming ability in C++ appropriate to your level of experience.\nUnderstanding of object-oriented programming, common data structures, algorithms, and the C++ Standard Library.\nStrong logical and analytical problem-solving skills.\nAbility to read, understand, debug, and improve an existing C++ codebase.\nFamiliarity with Linux or a strong willingness to work in a Linux-based development environment.\nFamiliarity with version control.\nCare and attention to detail, particularly when working on systems that support trading and market-making activity.\nAbility to communicate clearly, ask good questions, and work effectively as part of a small team.\nWillingness to take ownership of tasks and follow them through to completion.\nA degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience.\nFor junior candidates\nUniversity-level knowledge of C++, object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and the STL is sufficient.\nRelevant personal, academic, internship, or
