The candidate should be interested in joining the firm’s General Counsel office in Greenwich, CT, Chicago, IL or Washington, DC.\nResponsibilities:\nRepresenting the firm in arbitration and other adversarial proceedings (both directly and in conjunction with outside counsel);\nCoordinating with outside counsel on court actions involving the firm;\nRepresenting firm employees in third-party proceedings;\nAdvising firm employees on pre-litigation matters;\nDrafting agreements, disclosures, account documentation and website materials;\nInvestigating and providing detailed analysis and legal advice related to a range of issues relating to the IBKR trading platform, including trade execution, anti-fraud measures, and cybersecurity matters.\nQualifications:\nAt least 7 years of post-J.D. experience as a litigator at a law firm, financial services regulatory agency, exchange, broker-dealer or FCM;\nWould prefer “on-your-feet” experience in court or arbitration proceedings;\nWould prefer familiarity with securities, futures and broker-dealer issues;\nMember in good standing of the bar of any U.S. state or the District of Columbia;\nSolid academic background;\nHigh degree of comfort and fluency with computers and technology, and understanding of how technology is applied to business and regulatory problems;\nFacility with AI tools;\nOutstanding
