About Interact

Interact is a leading provider of enterprise intranet software, connecting more than four million employees worldwide with some of the world's most recognised brands, including Levi's, Domino's, Teva Pharmaceuticals, and Technicolor.

We're a team of customer-focused problem solvers who are passionate about helping organisations communicate, connect, and engage more effectively. Continuous improvement is at the heart of everything we do, driving us to enhance our products, services, and customer experience every day.

As the workplace continues to evolve, Interact is embedding AI into every corner of the intranet experience, creating a powerful, intelligent, one-stop platform that helps employees find information faster, work more efficiently, and stay connected.

With offices in Manchester, New York, Dubai, Tulsa, Warsaw, and Manila, we support organisations across North America, EMEA, APAC, and Australia, delivering innovative solutions on a global scale.

At Interact, people come first. We're proud of the culture we've built: one that values collaboration, trust, and continuous learning. No matter where you are in your career, you'll be encouraged to share ideas, grow your skills, and make a meaningful impact alongside a team that genuinely cares about each other and our customers.

We are looking for a Solutions Engineer, who will work closely with our Sales team and collaborate with Customer Success to deliver exceptional customer experiences from first conversation through to long-term partnership.

This is an exciting opportunity to influence business growth by helping leading brands solve real-world challenges. You'll analyse customer requirements, design tailored solutions, and deliver compelling product demonstrations that clearly communicate value and play a key role in converting prospects into customers.

Role Responsibilities

  • Manage the technical setup of demo environments - connecting our platform to 3rd-party integrations via our Marketplace suite of tools.
  • Read and parse extensive RFI/RFP documents to understand prospect needs - working closely with the Sales Team to build insights into what the foundational needs of each opportunity are.
  • Create and deliver compelling demos of the platform which are tailored to the prospective customer’s frame of context.
  • Be a product expert (with lots of help from our extensive training materials).
  • Think on your feet (or, office chair) - when quizzed by prospective customer teams across diverse functions such as IT, HR, Communications, and Leadership.
  • Continually learn about, and deliver presentations on, the platform roadmap - with a focus on the benefits of the features we’re developing.
  • Analyse the sales lifecycle and suggest refinements - asking questions and devising options for improvement.
  • Work closely with team members across the US and UK - sufficient overlap with relevant time zones is important.

Experience

  • 4+ years' experience supporting Sales, Pre-Sales, Solutions Consulting, or Technical Consulting teams within a SaaS environment.
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience leading discovery conversations to understand customer challenges and design impactful solutions.
  • Experience presenting and demonstrating technical solutions to a broad range of stakeholders, from IT teams and system administrators through to senior business leaders.
  • Hands-on experience supporting cloud-based SaaS platforms, integrations, and enterprise software implementations.
  • Experience working with APIs, custom integrations, data migrations, and technical implementation projects.
  • Exposure to software development practices, including Agile delivery, testing, release management, and deployment methodologies.
  • Experience collaborating with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Sales teams to deliver successful customer outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, including multi-tenant SaaS environments, scalability, high availability, disaster recovery, and global data residency requirements.
  • Knowledge of AWS and/or Azure cloud technologies, networking concepts, infrastructure design, monitoring, security, and compliance best practices.
  • Understanding of enterprise architecture and how business systems integrate across complex technology ecosystems.
  • Working knowledge of modern web technologies, including JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, and SDKs.
  • Understanding of software design principles, application architecture, coding practices, and technical solution design.
  • Knowledge of authentication and identity management technologies, including SAML, SCIM, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and Single Sign-On (SSO).
  • Familiarity with security and compliance requirements, including GDPR, data protection, encryption, access controls, and governance frameworks.
  • Understanding of integration patterns and enterprise platforms, including Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, HRIS/HCM systems, and Business Intelligence solutions.
  • Knowledge of migration strategies, deployment approaches, and CI/CD practices, with an appreciation for enterprise change management processes.
  • Naturally curious with a genuine passion for technology, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Customer-focused with a strong desire to understand business challenges and deliver value-driven solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, balancing technical requirements with commercial objectives.
  • Confident discussing architecture, development, integrations, and security concepts with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented, with the ability to build strong relationships across Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success functions.
  • Organised, self-motivated, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commercially aware, proactive, and motivated by helping organisations succeed through technology.
