This role ensures CIs, hardware assets, and hardware models are accurate, well governed, and aligned to the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) to support IT operations, reporting, and audits.\nThis position requires hands-on CMDB experience, including CMDB administration, data modeling, and hardware model lifecycle management.\nResponsibilities\nPerform day-to-day CMDB administration, including creation, update, validation, and decommissioning of CI records.\nActively manage the CMDB work queue (tickets and/or emails), ensuring timely resolution and accurate updates.\nMaintain CI data quality by monitoring and remediating.\nManage and validate CI relationships to support impact analysis and service visibility.\nApply working knowledge of the CMDB data model and CSDM to ensure CIs are modeled correctly.\nDevelop and run CMDB reports for stakeholders.\nMaintain and update CMDB documentation, standards, and procedures.\nIdentify CMDB process gaps and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.\nCreate, maintain and govern hardware models.\nKnowledge and Experience\n2+ years of CMDB experience working in an enterprise environment utilizing ServiceNow\nWorking knowledge of managing CMDB Service Mapping, Dynamic CI Groups and CMDB Groups\nStrongs understanding of IT Asset Management, CMDB and asset/CI life-cycle practices\nData analysis and reporting skills to support investigations and remediations\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to multitask and work independently on multiple projects with and ability to perform well under pressure\nDesirable Knowledge and Experience\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience\nExperience building reports with ServiceNow CMDB Query Builder and Performance Analytics\nFamiliarity with servers, network gear, AWS, Kubernetes, end user devices as it relates to CMDB and HAM management\nAdvanced excel data analysis, scripting and/or programming experience\nIntercontinental Exchange, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
