Every day we work toward transforming global markets.\nThe Platform Engineer is responsible for maintaining and advancing the enterprise's Server infrastructure and tooling. This individual works as part of a results-oriented, service-delivery team and collaborates with configuration analysts, release engineers, developers, and operations teams. The Platform Engineer performs root cause analysis of problems, develops and implements automation tools, and actively participates in deep technical discussions to drive endpoint visibility, security, and operational efficiency across the enterprise.\nResponsibilities\nAssist in the design, planning, and implementation of Windows and Linux server solutions\nBuild and maintain automation scripts in PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ansible or similar\nAssist in maintaining and improving our Windows and Linux build infrastructure\nAssist in creating and deploying software packages\nTune systems for maximum available performance\nRespond to and assist in production operations in a 24/7 environment\nEvaluate, test, and integrate new operating system versions, drivers, and patches\nProvide technical analysis, resolve problems, and propose solutions\nProvide support to, and coordinate with, developers, operations staff, release engineers, and end-users\nParticipate in a weekly on-call rotation for after-hours support\nKnowledge and Experience\nDegree in engineering discipline or equivalent experience in Systems Engineering\n3+ years of experience Windows Server (2019, 2022, 20250 and/or Linux Server (RHEL 8+)\n2+ years of experience with PowerShell and/or Bash or similar language\n1+ years of experience with patch and vulnerability management and remediation\nBuild automation and configuration management\nHorizontal and vertical scaling for performance and high availability\nSkilled in analytics and problem solving\nAbility to work in a service-oriented team environment\nActive understanding of Project Management, organization, and time management\nCustomer focused, and dedicated to the best possible user experience\nCommunicate effectively with both technical and business resources\nFluent speaking, reading, and writing in English\nDesired Knowledge and Experience\n2+ years of experience with Tanium\n2+ years of experience
