The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in finance, data modeling, and product development, along with the ability to analyze complex models, define business requirements, and lead their implementation into production. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, a solid understanding of business processes, and the ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders across both technical and business functions.\nResponsibilities\nAnalyze and translate complex business needs into functional and quantitative requirements with a focus on derivative pricing and settlement workflows.\nCollaborate with stakeholders across product, finance, data science, risk, and engineering teams to implement data-driven solutions.\nSupport testing and implementation of settlement technology platform enhancements for production systems.\nEffectively translate complex financial and mathematical concepts into business-friendly language, and vice versa, to ensure alignment between technical and business teams.\nAct as a liaison between the business and technology areas to ensure that data-related business requirements are clearly defined, communicated, and well understood and considered as part of operational prioritization and planning.\nPrior experience working with financial derivatives (e.g., futures, options, or other structured products).\nInterface with Clearing/Risk platforms to understand and implement required settlement enhancements.\nAdhere to company software development processes and standards.\nAssist operations with incident resolution.\nFollow changes in market trends as they relate to derivatives pricing.\nKnowledge and Experience\nBachelor’s degree in quantitative fields such as Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related.\n2+ years of experience in business analysis, data analytics, or a quantitative role in finance, fintech, or consulting.\nProficiency in SQL and strong Excel skills.\nExperience with Python, R, or other scripting languages used for data analysis or modeling.\nStrong understanding of statistical methods, financial principles, or risk analysis.\nExcellent communication skills; ability to convey complex quantitative findings to non-technical audiences.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and meet daily deadlines.\nMust possess excellent written and oral communication skills; technical and functional business writing skills required.\nAbility to effectively facilitate requirements gathering sessions, reviews, and issue resolution involving multiple stakeholders.\n Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
