Every day we work toward transforming global markets.\nThe Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for creating and maintaining the core server infrastructure and tooling. This individual works as part of a results-oriented, service-delivery team and assists configuration analysts, release engineers, developers, and operations teams. A successful candidate will be able to perform root cause analysis of problems, select, develop, and implement new tools, and actively participate in deep technical discussions.\nResponsibilities\nAssist in the design, planning and implementation of Linux and Windows server solutions\nBuild and maintain automation scripts and playbooks\nAssist in maintaining and improving our server build infrastructure\nAssist with the creation, maintenance and deployment of packages and patches within our SDLC framework\nTune systems for maximum available performance\nRespond to and assist in production operations in a 24/7 environment\nEvaluate, test, and integrate new operating system versions, drivers, and patches\nProvide technical analysis, resolve problems, and propose solutions\nProvide support to, and coordinate with, developers, operations staff, release engineers, and end-users\nEducate and mentor team members and operations staff\nParticipate in a weekly on-call rotation for after-hours support\nKnowledge and Experience\nBachelor's Degree in engineering discipline or equivalent experience in Systems Engineering\n5+ years of experience deploying and supporting Windows and Linux servers\n5+ years of experience supporting server build and SDLC infrastructure\n2+ years of experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell / Python / etc.\n1+ years of experience with Tanium or similar endpoint management products\n1+ years of experience with Ansible or similar automation platform\nBuild automation and configuration management\nHorizontal and vertical scaling for performance and high availability\nTop-tier analytics and problem solving\nAbility to work in a service-oriented team environment\nProject Management, organization, and time management\nCustomer focused, and dedicated to the best possible user experience\nCommunicate effectively with both technical and business resources\nFluent speaking, reading, and writing in English\nDesired Knowledge and Experience\n2+ years of experience with Citrix\n1+ year of experience with Tanium\nBasic understanding of application and server virtualization\nIntercontinental Exchange, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
