# Senior Java/C++ Software Developer

Job description: The Senior Java/C++ Software Developer will develop and support applications, systems, and framework infrastructure supporting ICE's electronic trading platforms - one of the world's leading commodities and futures exchanges. Responsibilities: As part of broader US-based Development and Support teams, this individual will participate in the design and development of client-facing API integration components (Order Routing, Trade Capture, etc.) across ICE trading platforms, as well as other software applications. Collaborate with global teams on architecture, code review, and cross-functional delivery. Provide Tier 2/3 production and UAT technical support during business hours as well as on-call for production environment client-impacting issues that may arise. Knowledge and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field. 8+ years of professional software development experience in Java and/or C++. Proficiency in Python for scripting and tooling. Experience with network programming, low-latency systems, or financial messaging protocols (FIX, binary).
