(ICE) presents an opportunity for a full-time Senior QA Engineer to join one of our Technology teams.\nThe individual will be responsible for functional testing, designing and developing comprehensive automated test strategies and test cases for the various applications that support our business needs. The candidate should understand modern testing tools and frameworks. We are looking for a methodical tester who is naturally curious, eager to learn new tools and technologies, and quick to pick up new testing methods.\nResponsibilities\nReview project business requirements to properly build, enhance and support related testing frameworks.\nDesign and develop comprehensive automated test strategies and test cases.\nAutomate test cases using exiting frameworks and tools.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills to work with internal teams to better understand requirements, to provide technical solutions and support user testing.\nProvide support throughout software delivery process, auditing as well as after-hours support, as necessary.\nKnowledge and Experience\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or equivalent academic discipline.\n5+ years of relevant Quality Engineering experience involving application development, deployment and testing (Preferably in the financial industry).\nProven track record of delivering quality work on time.\nKnowledge of software development and quality assurance best practices.\nRDBMS (Oracle, MSSQL or MySQL) and NoSQL (PostgreSQL): 4+ years (Preferred).\nLinux and Windows: 3+ years (Preferred).\nExperience with Java and Python.\nExperience with Maven, Jenkins, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Artifactory, JUnit, and TestNG.\nExperience with Kubernetes and container-based application environments.\nFamiliarity with AI-powered testing and development tools.\nExperience testing and supporting web/cloud-based applications.\nExperience supporting production and CERT environments.\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills.\nStrong debugging and troubleshooting skills.\nExcellent communication skills with ability to explain designs and solutions clearly.\nExcellent presentation skills.\nAbility to work well independently as well as part of a team.\nStrong aptitude for picking up new QA tools, technologies and testing methodologies quickly.\nA methodical, detail-oriented approach to test planning, execution and defect tracking.\nGenuine eagerness to learn, ask questions and continuously grow as a QA professional.\nNew York Base Salary Range\nThe expected base salary for this role, if located in New York, is between $120,000 - 175,000 USD. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange’s incentive compensation. While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual.
