You'll build meaningful connections, strengthen your interpersonal skills, and contribute in ways that truly make a difference.\nBeyond your day-to-day responsibilities, you'll participate in weekly sessions led by industry leaders, connect with fellow interns, and deepen your understanding of the financial services, technology, and mortgage industries.\nThe Software EngineeringIntern will support full-stack feature development on servicing workflow applications, working across React and Java (Spring Boot).\nResponsibilities\nContribute to building and enhancing web application features using React on the frontend and Java (Spring Boot) on the backend, following team coding standards and design patterns\nParticipate in code reviews, write unit and integration tests, and work within Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives)\nAssist in developing and consuming RESTful APIs to connect frontend interfaces with backend services\nGain exposure to financial industry standards (data privacy, audit logging, regulatory reporting) and apply them under mentorship from senior team members\nPerform additional duties and contribute to projects as assigned\nKnowledge and Experience\nMust be currently enrolled in a degree program at an accredited university and be at least advancing to their junior year of study\nBasic knowledge of React and Java\nUnderstanding of object-oriented programming principles and software design concepts\nExperience working with SQL and relational databases\nFamiliarity with RESTful API design and integration\nInternship Program Schedule\nTo accommodate varying academic calendars, the ICE Internship Program offers two schedule options:\nOption 1: May 24, 2027 - August 6, 2027\nOption 2: June 7, 2027 - August 20, 2027\nCandidates will be asked to select their preferred session during the application process.\nPlease Note: Interns must be available to work full-time, five days a week, at our Jacksonville office for the entire duration of one of the designated program schedules.
