timeliness across Equity asset class.\nOversee creation, validation, and maintenance of reference data (instrument static data, exchange details, identifiers, classifications) across internal platforms\nEnsure high-quality data delivery to downstream consumers such as pricing, index operations, and other reporting systems\nManage SLA adherence and data readiness for market openings, IPOs, corporate actions, and index changes\nLead, coach, and develop a team of enthusiastic analysts and build a cohesive unit.\nAllocate work, monitor productivity, and balance volumes across BAU and event-driven workloads.\nConduct performance reviews, goal setting, training, and succession planning.\nFoster a strong quality, control, and ownership mindset within the team.\nEnsure compliance with internal policies, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.\nReview root cause analysis (RCA) for data incidents and ensure corrective actions are implemented and tracked.\nServe as point of contact for all the stakeholders like product team, Business Analysis team, Client support team and others.\nIdentify opportunities to streamline, standardize, and automate reference data workflows\nPartner with technology teams to define functional requirements, UAT scenarios, and post-implementation validation.\nDrive reduction in manual touchpoints, error rates, and processing times.\nSupport strategic initiatives like coverage expansions, adding new data items etc.\nKnowledge and Experience\nBachelor’s degree in one of the following:Finance\nBusiness Administration\nEconomics\nAccounting\nStatistics / Engineering (acceptable with strong markets experience)\n\nPost-graduate qualifications (preferred, not mandatory)MBA (useful for senior or regional team lead roles)\nMaster’s in Finance / Financial Engineering\n\n8+ years experience in:Equity Operations\nReference / Instrument Data\nSecurities Services\nTrade lifecycle or post-trade operations\n\n2+ years in a people-management or lead role:Managing analysts / associates\nHandling escalations, performance reviews, and coaching\n\nStrong exposure to:Equity instruments (cash equities, ETFs, ADRs)\nCorporate actions impact on static data\nMarket identifiers (ISIN, SEDOL, CUSIP, Ticker)\n\nCore Functional & Technical Skills:Equity & Reference Data Knowledge\nEnd-to-end instrument data lifecycle\nMarket data sourcing & validation (exchanges, vendors)\nExperience with corporate actions, listings, suspensions\n\nControls & Risk Mindset:Operational risk\nData quality controls\nAudit & regulatory readiness\n\nProven people leadership:Coaching, mentoring, attrition management\nHandling multi-cultural teams (often Singapore + offshore)\n\nStakeholder management:Product Team, Client Services team, Challenge resolution team, vendors\nClear communication with global counterparts\n\nProcess improvement & automation mindset:Driving efficiency in the
