If you want to win, build with us. \nTHE ROLE \nInterdependence is seeking a strategic, entrepreneurial Director of M&A to partner closely with executive leadership in driving the firm's growth through strategic acquisitions across the B2B PR, marketing, and digital agency sectors. \nThis is a highly proactive, hands-on role focused on identifying acquisition opportunities, developing targeted outreach and marketing strategies, and building relationships with targe acquisitions. We're looking for someone who understands the B2B landscape, knows how to generate interest and build a pipeline of qualified acquisition targets, and can help move opportunities from initial outreach through acquisition. \nThe ideal candidate combines strong B2B marketing expertise with a hunter mentality, exceptional relationship-building skills, and an entrepreneurial approach to growth. You'll serve as a trusted partner to executive leadership, helping expand Interdependence's capabilities, client portfolio, and market presence through strategic acquisitions. \nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES \nM&A Marketing & Acquisition Strategy \nDevelop and execute targeted marketing and outreach strategies to identify and attract potential acquisition targets across B2B PR, marketing, and digital agencies. \nBuild and manage campaigns designed to engage agency founders, owners, and executive decision-makers. \nLeverage B2B marketing channels, including paid advertising, email marketing, LinkedIn, and content, to generate qualified acquisition opportunities. \nDevelop compelling messaging and positioning that communicates Interdependence's value proposition to prospective acquisition partners. \nResearch industry trends, competitors, and emerging agency capabilities to identify strategic acquisition opportunities. \nAcquisition Sourcing & Relationship Development \nProactively identify and pursue acquisition targets across the B2B PR, marketing, and digital agency sectors. \nBuild and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified acquisition prospects through targeted outreach, networking, and marketing initiatives. \nEstablish and nurture relationships with agency founders, owners, and executive leaders. \nIdentify off-market acquisition opportunities through proactive prospecting and industry research. \nLead initial conversations with prospective acquisition targets and assess their interest in potential partnerships or acquisitions. \nAcquisition Pipeline & Performance \nDevelop and manage an acquisition marketing funnel, from target identification and initial engagement through qualified opportunities. \nEstablish KPIs to measure outreach effectiveness, qualified acquisition leads, pipeline growth, and conversion. \nAnalyze campaign and prospecting performance to optimize targeting, messaging, and channel strategies. \nMaintain accurate acquisition pipeline reporting and provide regular updates to executive leadership. \nPartner with leadership to evaluate prospective acquisition targets based on business performance, service capabilities, client portfolios, and strategic fit. \nStrategic Growth & Executive Partnership \nServe as a strategic partner to executive leadership in developing and executing Interdependence's acquisition growth strategy. \nSupport acquisition discussions, relationship development, and due diligence in partnership with leadership and external advisors. \nIdentify opportunities to expand the firm's B2B capabilities, industry expertise, and market presence through acquisitions. \nDevelop scalable processes and strategies to strengthen acquisition sourcing and pipeline development. \nBring forward new ideas, market intelligence, and recommendations to accelerate growth. \nQUALIFICATIONS \n7+ years of experience in M and A / acquisitions in B2B. \nUnderstanding of acquisition sourcing, business development, and M&A processes; direct experience supporting acquisitions required. \nStrong prospecting and relationship-building skills, with experience engaging founders, owners, and senior executives. \nExcellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. \nEntrepreneurial mindset with a hunter mentality and strong sense of ownership. \nWHY YOU'LL LOVE WORKING AT INTERDEPENDENCE \n100% Remote, Forever - Work from anywhere in the world while you enjoy the flexibility of your fully remote workplace.
