Play a supporting role to the Finance Team when required.\nKey Responsibilities\nContact all customers with outstanding debt per prescribed protocols and request payment.\nRecord notes on each customer interaction per internal system requirements.\nResolve customer queries and communicate outcomes to line manager.\nIdentify, investigate and allocate customer receipt per bank statement with supporting documents.\nVerify the accuracy of the proof of payment received in comparison to the bank statement.\nProcess refund and journal requests according to internal protocol.\nInvestigate and allocate unallocated receipts.\nInvestigate and match unmatched receipts.\nComplete and submit vendor forms.\nVerify completeness and accuracy of computer-generated invoices, credit notes, early settlement discount credit notes and bad debt credit notes.\nPrepare Accounts Receivable reconciliation and analysis reports.\nProcess monthly Customer Statement Report on scheduled dates and ensure all customer transactions (invoices, Credit, Notes, Journals) have been processed prior to statement run.\nProvide support during year-end audits.\nPerform various administrative tasks as assigned.\nREQUIREMENTS\nMatric with accounting or a relevant diploma from a recognized institution or equivalent\nWorking experience in Pastel Accounting or related system.\nMinimum of 2-3 years experience in a credit control environment.\nAttention to detail.\nVerbal and written communication skills.\nAbove average customer service skills.\nAbility to work in a team and alone.\nAbility to be firm and professional.\nProficiency in excel and outlook.\nMature and emotionally intelligent.\nAn attractive work attendance
