apprenticeship with a Trade Test Certificate\n·A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Fitter and\nTurner, preferably in a manufacturing environment\n·CNC and CAD experience\n·Must be prepared to work weekends and over time\n·Experience in gearboxes, hydraulic- and\npneumatic systems is advantageous\n·Be pro-active and able to use won initiative\n·Be prepared to work overtime and carry out\nstandby duties on a roster basis\n·Maintain a high standard of housekeeping at all\ntimes\nDuties:\n·Analyzing the blueprints for mechanical systems\nto determine the specifications of the components to be constructed.\n·Constructing structural components from raw\nmaterials.\n·Using welding equipment to fuse structural\ncomponents.\n·Inspecting fabricated components to ensure that\nthey are the correct size.\n·Utilizing shears, power saws, cutting torches,\nand chipper knives to cut structural components as needed.\n·Creating a suitable maintenance schedule and\nperforming system maintenance accordingly.\n·Conducting diagnostic testing on malfunctioning\nsystems to determine the root cause of the malfunction.\n·Replacing damaged or defective structural\ncomponents as needed.\n·Adhering to all work-site safety rules
