# Junior Quantity Surveyor

The Quantity Surveyor role is responsible to determine and manage project and programme costs including producing the best estimates for the projects, develop bills of quantities, contribute to the development of contract documents, cost control, valuing deliverables, analysis of project submissions and reporting as well as monitoring and control of the construction process. Responsible for the timeous submission and negotiation of programme final accounts to the client. Key Performance Areas Key Activities Project Scope and Costing 40% Provide project costing for proposed projects Provide support for condition assessment of new project infrastructure or improvement of project to be delivered Develop and submit project estimates (Elemental and other), Bills of Quantities, Order of Magnitude etc Establish a costing analysis and deliver the cost schedule/plan Report on the performance of Projects Project Cost Planning 20% Prepare cost analysis based on the architectural drawings, engineering estimates, materials required, and labour involved Prepare cost plans to enable design teams to produce practical designs for construction projects, which involve liaising with architects, engine
