Responsibilities:\n·Create new and terminate employees on Sage 300\n·Update bank details, tax directive details and\ncost centre changes on Sage 300\n·Gather all payroll input by following a clearly\ndefined Activity Work Instruction\n·Calculate monthly group life contributions and\nsubmission of calc. sheet to reinsurer\n·Facilitate payment to 3rd parties for group life\nand group retirement annuity schemes\n·Input monthly incentive scores, commission,\nvariable travel allowances, overtime, standby and reimbursements (via CSV\nimport into Sage 300)\n·Create ESS logins and approve submissions (as\nadministrator) received for reimbursement,\n·Overtime and standby claims, personal detail\nchanges and leave applications\n·Exporting monthly payment files from Sage 300 to\nbanking platform\n·Submit monthly EMP returns on efiling\n·Submit monthly UIF declarations to department of\nlabour\n·Submit annual COID return\n·Complete validations in advance of annual easy\nfile submission for IRP5’s (and six-monthly reconciliation)\n·Address payroll related queries and requests\nfrom employees\n·Analyse payroll problems and provide appropriate\nsolutions\n·Work closely with the relevant Human Resource\nand Finance teams to carry out payroll weekly processing and month end\nprocessing\n·Run Sage 300 reports and complete weekly and\nmonthly tasks by following a clearly defined Activity Work Instruction and\nchecklist\n·Compile weekly and month end information to\nshare with Finance, by a specific deadline date, in line with a clearly defined\nActivity Work Instruction (Finance will post relevant journals on Pastel)\n·Complete weekly and monthly payroll control\naccount recons (Finance will post relevant journals on
