This position performs receiving, inventory management, replenishment, order fulfillment, returns processing, shipping, material movement, value-added services, and preparation of inventory for third-party fulfillment partners. This role operates within a cross-trained workforce model, providing flexible support across distribution functions to meet customer needs, business priorities, and operational requirements while maintaining safety, quality, inventory accuracy, and customer satisfaction.\nEducational requirements:\nHigh school diploma or GED required \nAssociate or undergraduate degree in business, supply chain management, logistics, operations, or a related field preferred\nLean Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred\nMinimum of three years of experience in warehouse, logistics, fulfillment, manufacturing, or distribution operations preferred\nSkills and experience:\nAbility to obtain and maintain required powered industrial truck operator qualifications\nProficiency with UPS and FedEx shipping platforms and familiarity with carrier compliance requirements\nKnowledge of shipping carriers, methods, and geographic location data including city, state, and country\nProficiency with warehouse management, barcode scanning, inventory, labeling, and shipping systems; experience with the DSI barcode scanning system strongly preferred\nDemonstrated ability to perform accurate product verification, labeling, inventory transactions, shipping documentation, and other required system transactions\nBasic mechanical aptitude and ability to safely operate material processing equipment, including the XYZ cutter\nAbility to interpret order documentation, pick tickets, technical drawings, patterns, packaging specifications, product configuration requirements, and special instructions\nStrong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to quality and accuracy\nEffective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills\nDemonstrated problem solving and sound decision-making skills\nProven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment\nCapacity to work independently with minimal supervision, resolve routine issues within established guidelines, escalate complex issues appropriately, and collaborate effectively in a team environment\nAbility to prioritize changing workloads and balance multiple operational demands while maintaining accuracy and service levels\nGeneral computer proficiency, including accurate typing skills\nProficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook\nWorking knowledge of AutoCAD preferred\nAbility to meet applicable licensing, DOT physical, and qualification requirements for assigned equipment and backup driving responsibilities\nEssential duties:\nPromote socially responsible sustainability and support the Interface mission, values, and culture\nSupport the accurate and timely flow of products and materials across direct customer, internal, transfer, pickup, and third-party fulfillment channels\nApply operational and technical knowledge across multiple functions to meet customer and business requirements\nUse warehouse management systems, barcode scanners, shipping platforms, labeling software, and related technologies to complete accurate and timely transactions\nReceive, inspect, verify, store, and ship products and materials while maintaining inventory accuracy through required transactions, inventory verification, replenishment, cycle counting, location control, and resolution of routine inventory discrepancies\nPick, package, verify, label, stage, and ship orders accurately and on time while ensuring product quality and documentation requirements are met\nPerform customized packaging, kitting, cutting, labeling, and other value-added services as required\nPrepare inventory for third-party fulfillment partners, including labeling, packaging, pallet configuration, documentation, and system transactions\nProcess returns and support product reuse, re-entry, and circularity processes\nInterpret order documentation, technical drawings, patterns, packaging specifications, and special instructions\nSafely operate material handling, cutting, labeling, packaging, and distribution equipment to receive, store, move, stage, and ship products and materials\nMaintain, calibrate, inspect, clean, troubleshoot, and perform approved operator-level maintenance on assigned equipment, including cutting equipment, lift trucks, and batteries\nServe as a qualified backup driver when assigned and maintain applicable DOT, licensing, and qualification requirements\nParticipate in cross-training and maintain required qualifications for assigned processes, systems, vehicles, and equipment\nSupport the training and cross-training of team members after demonstrating proficiency in the applicable functions\nParticipate in root cause problem solving, standard work development, and continuous improvement activities\nCollaborate with internal teams, carriers, vendors, and third-party fulfillment partners to support operational requirements\nMaintain excellent housekeeping and comply with all safety, environmental, quality, ISO, SDS, and documented work requirements\nPerform other duties as assigned\nPhysical demands:\nWalking and standing throughout the shift\nRepetitive lifting of 35 to 40 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 70 pounds Climb ladders up to 7-8 ft.\nAbility to bend, reach, stoop, lift, carry, push, pull, and maneuver loaded carts\nAbility to perform repetitive picking, packing, labeling, cutting, scanning, and material preparation activities\nAbility to safely enter and exit powered industrial equipment and work in an active warehouse environment\nWork overtime as needed\nWork environment:\n- Non-climate controlled distribution environment\nLearn more about Interface (NASDAQ: TILE) and our brands at interface.com and FLOR.com.
