Building on more than 30 years of sustainability progress and industry-first innovation, we remain ‘all in’ on our goal of becoming carbon negative by 2040, without the use of offsets.\nPosition Summary: The Electrician I is responsible for trouble shooting electrical systems, up-grading electrical devices and equipment , as well as general plant\nfacilities modernization.\nEducational requirements:\nHigh school diploma or GED required\n\nTech school certificate preferred\n\nSkills and experience:\nThree to five years of manufacturing experience in the electrical craft\n\nThree to five years work experience with troubleshooting, decommissioning and installation of equipment\n\nGood communication skills, written and verbal\n\nMeet license requirements for powered material handling equipment (Lift trucks, JLG's, Scissor Lift)\n\nBasic computer aptitude\n\nEssential duties:\n\nTroubleshoot complex electrical systems with some electronics\n\nFamiliar with electrical systems including, PLC, DC/AC drives, motors, HVAC, and power distributions\n\nEstimate, procure parts, modify and install electrical equipment\n\nMaintain housekeeping\n\nComply with safety rules including lock out/ tag out procedures.\n\nComply with environmental regulations\n\nBe aware of departmental Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)\n\nEnsure ISO procedures are followed.\n\nUnderstand and support Interface commitment to sustainability.\n\nPerform other duties as assigned\n\nPhysical demands:\nLifting up to 40 lbs.\n\ndaily of climbing ladders and stairs\n\nextensive walking\n\nWork environment:\n\nNon-climate controlled work environment\n\nLearn more about Interface (NASDAQ: TILE) and our brands at interface.com and FLOR.com.
