Limited support of other Interface companies, predominantly in the Atlanta area, will be required.\nEducational requirements:\nHigh school diploma or GED\nTechnical school certificate preferred\nSkills and experience:\nGood communication skills, written and verbal\n\nTraining and/or experience in electrical, plumbing, and mechanical maintenance craft.\n\nOne to two years experience for commercial grade carpentry including metal stud framework, drop ceilings, drywall installation and finishing.\n\nExperience with carpet tile installation preferred.\n\nMust meet the license requirements for powered industrial equipment.\n\nValid drivers license and clean driving record.\n\nEssential duties:\nSupport facilities functions predominantly related to people and public space.\n\nPlan simple layouts; execute the construction, run conduit, paint, etc. as needed.\n\nExperience in commercial painting.\n\nAssemble and modify furniture systems including electrical and data systems.\n\nInventory, protect and transport all furniture assets stored for re-use or upcoming projects.\n\nManage record retention physical inventory; storage and retrieval process.\n\nWork with and oversee contractors and liaise with the maintenance group on joint projects.\n\nMaintain housekeeping.\n\nComply with safety rules.\n\nBe aware of departmental safety data sheets (MSDS).\n\nEnsure ISO procedures are followed.\n\nUnderstand and support Interface's commitment to sustainability.\n\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nPhysical demands:\nLift up to 50 lbs.\nWork environment:\nOffice space, non-climate controlled manufacturing or industrial space and outdoors\nShift: First\nLearn more about Interface (NASDAQ: TILE) and our brands at interface.com and FLOR.com.
