By providing guidance, troubleshooting, and technical support, this role helps deliver outstanding customer experiences and contributes to the continued growth and success of the nora business.\nLocation: This position is based in LaGrange, Georgia.\nPrimary areas of responsibility include (but are not limited to):\nDemonstration of proper installation techniques for national accounts.\nAttend pre-construction and pre-installation meetings as required to ensure proper sub-floor specification and preparation.\nAssess skill level of installers to determine eligibility for nora approved status.\nInspection of product, installation and/or maintenance related complaints; provide required documentation, reports, pictures and correspondence and propose solutions as applicable for discussion with Manager.\nAssist in writing/updating technical literature, as required.\nIn close cooperation with the sales staff, provide technical support, installation mock-ups, hot/cold weld samples and mock-up sample special requests.\nProper Management, communication, and documentation of customer complaints to their resolution.\nProvide reports on major complaints of our competitor products, including vinyl, VCT, VLT and linoleum.\nInstall test floors and/or replace, if necessary.\nManage travel within the approved expense budget (additional costs must be approved by the nora Technical Manager). \nConduct training in the nora Academy as needed.\nProvide presentations and demonstrations at the annual North American Sales Meeting and trade shows as needed.\nAnswer the nora technical phone lines and respond to the nora technical mailbox when available to do so.\nRequirements/Experience\n5+ years of experience working with resilient flooring, including installation.\nExperience with mitigation systems and floor preparation (including patches and self-levelers) a plus\nExcellent communication skills, verbal and written\nProficient with Microsoft Office suite and ability to use company provided IT tools such as iPhone, iPad, laptop, etc.\nAbility to travel 60-70% domestically, with occasional international travel and overnight/weekend travel as required\nExperience with Project management and conflict resolution \nHigh diploma or GED required.
