In this role, you will design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software solutions that power our email hosting, Microsoft 365 integration, and cloud services. You will work closely with product managers, architects, QA engineers, and fellow developers to build reliable, secure, and high-performance applications used by more than one million hosted mailboxes.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity to work on large-scale cloud services, modernize existing systems, and contribute to products that combine Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft 365, email security, backup, and archiving technologies.\n\n Key Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, test, and maintain applications using the .NET platform.\nBuild scalable backend services and APIs for cloud-based email and Microsoft 365 solutions.\nParticipate in the modernization of existing applications and migration toward modern architectures.\nCollaborate with Product Management, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality software.\nWrite clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices.\nTroubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.\nParticipate in code reviews and contribute to improving development standards and engineering practices.\nOptimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.\nStay current with emerging technologies, development frameworks, and AI-assisted software engineering practices.\nSkills, Knowledge & Expertise\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).\n3+ years of professional software development experience with .NET technologies.\nStrong proficiency in C# and .NET.\nExperience building RESTful APIs and backend services.\nSolid knowledge of ASP.NET Core, an open-source web development framework | .NET Core, MVC, and SQL Server.\nExperience working with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.\nUnderstanding of object-oriented design principles and software design patterns.\nExperience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills.\n\nNice to Have\nExperience with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Exchange, or Office 365 APIs.\nExperience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.\nExperience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure.\nFamiliarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization technologies.\nExperience with messaging or streaming technologies.\nKnowledge of email protocols (SMTP, IMAP, POP3, Exchange Web Services, Microsoft Graph API).\nExperience working with monitoring and observability tools.\n\nAI Tools & Modern Development\n We encourage engineers to leverage modern AI-powered development tools to improve productivity and code quality.
