Join our Team!\nWhat you will do\nThe Compliance Specialist is responsible for daily transaction monitoring.\nWhat you have\nAnalyzes Agents/Customers' transactions to detect suspicious activity and decides on appropriate action. Works cooperatively with internal departments to obtain and analyze necessary information related to investigations.\nWorks cooperatively with local, state, or federal authorities to investigate suspicious account activity. Analyzes investigation results to determine need for SAR filing with the Federal Government.\nProvides guidance, support, and recommendations to other Compliance functions regarding customer AML risk ratings and account activity.\nActively ensures compliance with the Intermex BSA/AML information security and suspicious activity reporting requirements, policies and procedures.\nAssists manager with ensuring quality control standards and technical aspects of SAR filings are compliant with regulatory guidelines.\nPrepares investigative reports for management. Assists with departmental tracking and reporting. Ensures the monitoring system software captures all investigations accurately.\nAssists in the implementation of BSA/AML detection and prevention methods, such as training and instruction manuals. Provides needed support for special projects or critical casework as requested.\nExercises sound judgment and observes the highest degree of confidentiality in the handling of information received in the course responsibilities.\nCompletes required Annual BSA/AML training and other compliance training as assigned. This duty is performed as needed.\nPerform any other related duties as required or assigned.\nWhat you bring\nMinimum Associate's degree or higher preferred\nAML Certification (CAMS/AMLCA) preferred\nAt least five years’ experience in the compliance field or related area.\nAdvanced knowledge of AML/BSA and SAR Filing.\nProficient with Microsoft Software (Outlook, Word, Excel and web search)\nAbility to organize and prioritize workload.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills (English and Spanish).\nIntermex Wire Transfer LLC. is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
