As a Data Analyst-Technical-Staff, you will be part of a team that contributes to strategic initiatives, clinical standards, and operational goals through data insights. Reporting to senior leaders in Digital Technology Services (DTS), you will collaborate with business and clinical leaders across Intermountain Health. The team ensures data applications are maintained, monitored, promoted, and used effectively.Essential Functions\nPrimary support for management level leadership of a system/regional business or clinical area. \nMeet regularly with leadership to provide work updates, set project priorities, and establish deliverable timelines. \nPartner with Healthcare Data Advisors and Data Architects to ensure the integrity and accuracy of data for the area(s) they support. \nReceive customer requests and develop/deliver meaningful information through data exploration, interpretation, report development and visual storytelling. \nEffectively communicate analytic findings and recommendations to both technical and business executives. T\nRegularly schedule and provide analytic work demonstrations and hands-on training for customers to promote understanding and independent consumption of analytic work. \nAugment technical skillset through individual learning and participation in Intermountain analytic community educational offerings. \nSkills\nSQL & database design\nData visualization tools\nOffice applications proficiency\nCommunication skills\nHealth care data expertise\nLifelong learner\nIndividual & team success\nQualifications\nMinimum Qualifications\nIntermediate skills in SQL and database tasks.\nAbility to create effective visualizations and dashboards.\nProficiency in office applications for daily tasks\nGood communication skills with experience presenting data insights to peers.\nKnowledge of healthcare data through relevant projects\nExperience collaborating with team members and contributing to group projects.\nProficiency in Product Management, Project Management, or Program Management philosophies and methodologies, and capable of applying them to data analytic projects to ensure alignment with business goals and efficient execution.\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in analytics related fields such as statistics, mathematics, information systems, computer science, finance, business management, or economics and two years of relevant experience performing statistical data analysis.\n\nBachelor’s degree in another area of study with four years of relevant work experience in a role performing data analysis.\nExperience without a related degree will be considered if skill set and experience are robust.\nPhysical Requirements\n Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment. \nLocation:\nKey Bank TowerWork City:\nSalt Lake CityWork State:\nUtahScheduled Weekly Hours:\n40The hourly range for this position is listed below.
