Training will be completed on-site a Holy Rosary Hospital.\nAbout the Program\nClasswork and lab will be taught on-site at Holy Rosary Hospital in Miles City, Montana.\nNext class will start January 18, 2027 \nUpon completion of the 9- month program, you will be qualified to work in our operating rooms and become a Surgical Technologist.\nThis Apprenticeship will teach and train you to learn how to pass the national certification test called the Tech in Surgery - Certified (TS-C) through the NCCT.\nClinical rotations will be offered in Operating Rooms (OR) at Intermountain Hospitals where the Apprentice will be hired. Candidates will be asked to preference final site based on availability.\nClasswork/Lab will be held Monday - Friday from 6:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at 36 hours per week\nExternship/Hands on training will be held Monday - Friday, from 6:40 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at 40 hours per week.\nApplication Process\nCompletion of this online application\nYour resume is required. This includes computer use and typing for documentation, accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc.\nExpected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients. Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment.\nTypically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items.\nNeed to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment. This includes pushing/pulling gurneys and portable equipment, including heavy items.
