This includes ensuring building infrastructure, hygiene equipment, and the surrounding environment are maintained to the highest standards in compliance with health, safety, and food safety requirements. The role involves coordination with subcontractors, internal staff, and the landlord, as well as supporting operational departments across locations.\nDuties & Responsibilities\n1. Operational Oversight\nOversee all facilities operations\n\nEnsure day-to-day maintenance activities are executed efficiently by coordinating subcontractors and internal maintenance teams.\n\nMaintain building aesthetics and structural integrity through direct interaction with landlord area managers.\n\nFacilitate the maintenance of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, forklift services, fire prevention systems, pest control, landscaping, and other facility systems.\n\nConduct daily property checks of critical infrastructure.\n\nMaintain accurate SOPs for preventive and reactive maintenance across all systems.\n\nMonthly HVAC maintenance and service coordination.\n\nRecord and monitor utility consumption (electricity and water) monthly.\n\nPlan and respond to service requests including interior fixtures, furnishings, and office-related maintenance.\n\nConduct routine inspections of contractor performance and ensure services are in line with contractual agreements.\n\nMaintain inventory of tools, parts, and supplies.\n\nManage stock control where applicable.\n\nSchedule work with minimal disruption to business operations.\n\nConduct monthly staff meetings and daily safety discussions.\n\nHost toolbox talks and ensure ongoing engagement with the team on safety topics.\n\n2. QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment)\nEnsure compliance with QHSE management systems and client-specific contractual obligations.\n\nReport and document any incidents such as accidents, fires, losses, or damages immediately.\n\nLead the completion of risk assessments for all work carried out on-site.\n\nImplement hygiene and safety audits and corrective actions in collaboration with department heads.\n\n3. Administration & Compliance\nSubmit monthly reports detailing expenditure and project progress.\n\nManage timesheets and communicate overtime to the Operations Manager.\n\nUpdate preventive maintenance schedules regularly.\n\nSupport project implementation through stakeholder coordination and progress tracking.\n\nMaintain Shave and Gibson’s Food Safety Certification by ensuring hygiene-related infrastructure is functional and compliant.\n\nSupport scheduling and execution of annual Health and Safety audits and ensure reporting of findings.\n\nEnsure adherence to customer, legislative, and food safety standards at both sites.\n\n4.
