Pull old print dies.\n\nCheck flow card, print card, construction card and print die number.\n\nHang print die for next order. Set pull rolls.\n\nSet kicker and stroke. Set calibration and registrations from center line sheet.\n\nHelp crew members if necessary. Close machine. Ink machine.\n\nRun box through to check all dimensions. Set stacker and bundler for upcoming order.\n\nKeep sheets picked up on stacker or feeder while running order.\n\nUse the run procedures to ensure machine run is performed correctly.\n\nStartup machine\nControl the machine’s speed to produce a quality product at a maximum level of output.\n\nCheck bundle count on first handful as it leaves the C/E.\n\nCheck to make sure that boxes are glued properly.\n\nCheck stacking plan, load tags, and unit count on first load.\n\nAt start up, set aside two bundles of quality boxes to use as replacement boxes for defects.\n\nPull all defectives found during inspection and replace them with good box from bundles set aside.\n\nConfirm that final count matches bundle spec. (Replace same number as defects pulled)\n\nCount scrap boxes to confirm equal # of replacements. If this number is incorrect, add difference to final unit.\n\nCheck and fold up at least one box per unit. Check and maintain constant ink and glue flow.\n\nWatch for and react to jam-ups.
