The operator must be able to run this line in a safe manner, producing high quality food product liners (bags) in the most efficient manner possible.\nEssential Functions\nMachine operators will run the liner machine associated with producing food grade liner (bag) products.\nAll machine operator tasks must be done while maintaining the highest safety, best food practices and quality.\nComplete various operator quality checks; assist with the upkeep of machinery with maintenance to minimize downtime; assist in troubleshooting machine problems. This includes completing various machine operator PM’s.\nDocument daily production through Production Work Orders. This includes the documentation of changes made to the liner machine in order to effectively run the equipment. This may be done through various communications and recordkeeping practices, including logs, files, reports, and systems. \nComplete all operator features of any/all “first article check” processes. \nResponsible for participating in food safety with their fellow team members.\nOther activities as assigned by the supervisor.\nEducation/Experience/Licenses & Certifications\nHigh School diploma or GED equivalent required. Prior food industry experience preferred.
