This job is eligible to participate in IP’s annual incentive plan.\nCategory/Shift:\nSalaried Full-Time\n3rdshift\n10:00 PM - 6:00 AM\nPhysical Location:\nConway, AR\nThe Job You Will Perform:\nDirect supervisor to 3rd shift Litho Department of hourly employees. Responsible for supervision, direction and leadership in safety, quality, productivity and engagement to ensure goals are met. This position reports to the Printing Superintendent.\nSupervise employees in the daily production of lithographic printed sheets, to include hiring, training, planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating employee performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; promoting safety, quality production and teamwork; resolving conflicts.\nLead and motivate employees by setting an example of superior behavior, attitude and performance to work efficiently and effectively, while ensuring a safe work environment, and a quality product. \nEffectively communicate operational information in both oral and written format at all levels: crew members, other supervisors, plant management, office personnel and outside customers and vendors. \nActively promote and ensure compliance with safety, quality and other programs and initiatives utilized within the organization.\nMaintains necessary documentation, reports, time approvals for direct reports.\nReview projects prior for accuracy and to ensure that prerequisites have been met prior to scheduled production, Read and interprets layouts.\nMonitor inventory levels of Litho chemistry, rollers, and supplies and order when needed.\nCoordinate the production and planning of jobs with the pre-press department.\nCoordinates daily shift production and overtime schedules optimizing staffing levels and equipment availability.\nEnsure preventative maintenance programs are executed according to established schedules.\nThe Skills You Will Bring:\nSafety minded and drives safety culture\n\nHigh School diploma or GED equivalent required.\n\nTwo years of supervisory experience required. \nPrior experience in the Litho, Preprint packaging industry, or prepress experience required.\n\nAdvanced understanding of lithographic press systems and print production workflows required.\n\nExperience with G7 color theory required.\n\nCollege and/or related technical courses highly preferred.\n\nPrior experience in
