This role combines business process documentation, process improvement, governance, and financial operations support to help drive standardization, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement across Finance and cross-functional processes.\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for developing, documenting, optimizing, and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while partnering with Finance leaders and key stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities, strengthen controls, and support business decision-making through process and data analysis.\nThis position offers strong visibility within the Finance organization and provides an excellent career path toward broader Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Business Analysis, Process Excellence, or Finance Transformation roles.\nKey Responsibilities\nProcess Documentation & Governance\nDevelop, document, and maintain Finance-related Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, workflows, and process maps.\n\nEnsure business processes are accurately documented, standardized, and aligned with organizational objectives.\n\nConduct periodic reviews and updates of SOPs to reflect business, system, regulatory, or organizational changes.\n\nSupport compliance efforts by ensuring procedures align with internal controls, governance requirements, and company policies.\n\nProcess Improvement & Operational Excellence\nAnalyze current Finance and business processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, risks, and automation opportunities.\n\nCollaborate with stakeholders to redesign and optimize workflows that improve effectiveness, consistency, and scalability.\n\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or Operational Excellence methodologies.\n\nTrack process improvement projects and communicate results and business impact to leadership.\n\nFinancial & Business Analysis\nAnalyze financial and operational data to identify trends, performance drivers, risks, and opportunities.\n\nSupport the development of reports, dashboards, and performance metrics for Finance leadership.\n\nInterpret data and communicate findings that support strategic and operational decision-making.\n\nAssist in identifying opportunities for cost optimization, productivity improvements, and process enhancements.\n\nProvide analytical support for both recurring and ad hoc business initiatives.\n\nStakeholder Management\nPartner with Finance, Accounting, Shared Services, Operations, and other business functions to gather requirements and validate processes.\n\nFacilitate process reviews, stakeholder discussions, and alignment workshops.\n\nAct as a liaison between process owners, business leaders, and support functions to ensure successful implementation of procedural improvements.\n\nQualifications\nRequired\nBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.\n1-2 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:\nProcess Documentation\n\nSOP Development\n\nFinancial Analysis\n\nBusiness Process Management (BPM)\n\nShared Services\n\nContinuous Improvement\n\nFinance Operations\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, pivot tables, lookups, and reporting.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nHigh attention to detail and commitment to quality and compliance.\nPreferred\nExperience supporting Finance, Accounting, FP&A, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report, or Shared Service environments.\n\nKnowledge of process mapping tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, Signavio, or similar.\n\nExperience with Lean, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, or Operational Excellence initiatives.\n\nFamiliarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.\n\nExperience building dashboards and reports using Power BI or other analytics tools.\n\nIdeal Candidate Profile\nThe ideal candidate combines the structured mindset of a Process Analyst with the analytical capabilities of a Finance professional.
