This role works collaboratively with staff, schools, families, and community partners to ensure high-quality services and positive outcomes for youth. The position reports to the Youth Education Manager.\nMAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES\nProgram Design and Management:\nLead department and program planning in alignment with organizational mission and goals. \nEnsure high-quality services that empower youth and support their success in the community. \nResearch, develop, and implement best practices that promote positive youth development and academic achievement for vulnerable youth. \nEstablish and implement annual and long-term goals and objectives in collaboration with department leadership and staff. \nEnsure compliance with all program, donor, contractual, and IRC standards and requirements. \nOversee accurate and timely financial, programmatic, and client recordkeeping, including use of ETO and ARRPODS systems. \nPeople Management\nSupervise, coach, and support the professional growth and development of Youth Program staff. \nLead training for staff and volunteers on education best practices, positive youth development, social-emotional asset development, and working with English Language Learners (ELLs). \nResource Development and Partnership Development:\nContribute to grant and proposal development efforts to support and sustain programming. \nDevelop, maintain, and strengthen relationships with school districts and strategic community partners. \nRepresent IRC Youth Programs within the community and to current and prospective funders. \nServe as a resource for information related to program activities. \nPerform other duties as assigned. \nJOB REQUIREMENTS:\nBachelor's degree required; graduate degree in education, nonprofit management, public administration, social work, human services, or a related field preferred. \nMinimum three years of experience working with youth and two years of supervisory experience; experience with refugee and/or immigrant youth preferred. \nDemonstrated success in designing and implementing youth programs, leading staff, and building community partnerships. \nStrong communication, relationship-building, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse cultures, backgrounds, and perspectives, and uphold IRC values. \nCommitment to serving immigrant communities through trauma-informed and culturally responsive practices; bilingual abilities preferred. \nValid driver's license, access to a personal insured vehicle, and ability to travel regularly throughout the service area. \n\nWorking Environment:\nA combination of standard office environment, remote work, and ‘field’ time within the service delivery area to perform the above outlined responsibilities. Some evening and weekend hours will be required.\nCompensation: (Pay Rate: $63,296.42/annual). Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget.
