This role will be based out of our Dallas branch located in McKinney, TX and will report into our Engineering Manager. This will be an on-site position.\nKey Responsibilities:\nWork closely with project managers and clients to understand project requirements and objectives.\nDevelop detailed plans and designs for formwork and shoring systems based on project specifications and structural requirements and utilize industry-standard software and tools (i.e., AutoCAD, Revit, ect.) to create accurate drawings, models, and calculations.\nProvide technical expertise and guidance to project teams and clients regarding formwork and shoring solutions.\nCollaborate with engineers, architects, and construction professionals to address technical challenges and optimize project performance.\nIdentify and select appropriate formwork and shoring materials based on project requirements, budget constraints, and site conditions.\nEnsure that formwork and shoring systems comply with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.\nMonitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and implement corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track.\n Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.\nProven experience in formwork and shoring design, preferably in the construction industry.\nProficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD), structural analysis tools, and project management software.\nStrong analytical skills and attention to detail.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.\nProfessional Engineer (PE) license a major plus.\n Doka offers terrific career opportunities, competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, Flexible Spending Account, company paid life insurance, supplemental voluntary term life insurance, 401k retirement plan (Roth and Non-Roth), short-term disability, AFLAC policies, paid time off (sick/personal, vacation, floating holiday and company paid holidays) and an exciting opportunity to join as a member of Doka's team.\nIf working with some of the most impressive construction projects in the US and joining an industry leader excites you, please submit your resume by clicking below.
