will be reporting directly to the Head of Infrastructure.\nKey Responsibilities\nImplement, manage, and maintain customer facing production network infrastructure supporting our hosting services\nImplement and manage core network routing configuration, network security solutions, such as firewalls, DDoS protection and VPNs\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex network issues with minimal downtime\nPlan and execute network upgrades, migrations and extensions\nMonitor network performance and implement improvements for optimal efficiency\nSupport compliance-driven standards such as ISO 27001, manage and mitigate risks identified through vulnerability and audit assessments\nImplement and manage network automation and Infrastructure as Code solutions to improve efficiency and change management\nCollaborate effectively with other stakeholders and customers to ensure projects and key deliverables are executed in a timely manner\nMaintain an accurate and up-to-date network designs, configurations and asset inventory\nParticipate in incident, problem and change management\nStay abreast on emerging technologies and recommend their adoption where applicable\nMaintain documentation and contribute to shared ways of working with other team members\nParticipate in a shared on-call rotation\nYou should have strong experience in the following areas:\nStrong networking fundamentals and production experience using technology stacks from leading brands such as Cisco and Juniper\nRouting and switching e.g. Cisco and Juniper\nPractical hands-on background experience with on-premises architectures\nFirewalls and VPN’s\nSolid understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VXLAN routing protocols\nNetworking security and high-availability design principles\nDDoS protection products such as Cloudflare\nSoftware Defined Networking\nExperience with automation / IaC tooling and scripting\nObservability / monitoring experience for network platforms\nRequirements\n3+ years of experience as a Network Engineer in a production environment\nAbility to work independently while contributing effectively to the team\nBe ready to drive ownership and change within our network infrastructure\nHave a problem solving and can-do attitude\nKeep solutions simple for others to follow\nFollow best practices in everything you do\nFamiliar with ITIL Processes\nBe comfortable in having direct customer
