By 2030 we aim to be one of the world’s leading advisory firms with a truly global footprint.\n\nThe Role\n Join a dedicated team delivering corporate insolvency engagements with a focus on employee related matters. In this role, you will own a portfolio of corporate cases covering a varied range of matters and complexities. This role suits someone who wants to step up into a client-facing position in a lively, fast-paced environment, working to deadlines and under pressure.\nYou will also have the chance to work with our wider UK team on insolvency assignments, often involving some of the highest profile businesses in the country.\n\nResponsibilities:\nWorking closely with case managers, engagement leaders and fellow ERA colleagues, you will:\nTake ownership of a portfolio of cases, proactively progressing employee related matters and claims\nAttend employee meetings, providing clear, accurate advice and responding to queries\nAgree employee preferential and unsecured claims, including circulating notices of intended dividend\nMake payments to HMRC and pension providers by the relevant deadlines\nLiaise with company HR and payroll teams to obtain the information needed to resolve ERA matters\nEngage with appointees, appointers, directors, creditors, employees and other stakeholders on employee matters\nPrepare employee correspondence, meeting minutes, file notes, emails, letters, schedules and analysis\nKeep employee information in our database (IPS) accurate and up to date\nPrioritise your workload to meet deadlines, consulting senior colleagues where needed\nStay current with employment legislation\nContribute to discussions on developing and improving the business, and take part in occasional marketing events to build your internal and external network\nThe role is primarily office-based, with some client site work when required.\nRequirements\nEmployment law knowledge\nCommercial awareness, with practical common sense and an interest in financial matters\nStrong time management and organisational skills, and the ability to juggle multiple assignments while meeting deadlines\nExcellent written communication, particularly email and letter writing\nConfident, articulate interpersonal skills, including in difficult situations\nA proactive, conscientious and enthusiastic approach, with high standards of accuracy and attention to detail\nThe ability to self-start and work independently or as part of a team\nA consistently professional manner\nGood working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel and Word\nA willingness to travel occasionally\nFull working rights in the UK\nBenefits\nAt Interpath, our people lie at the heart of our business.
