The role will work closely with Group Finance, local finance teams and IT to translate agreed finance requirements into system configuration, reporting solutions, testing and process documentation. The successful candidate will have practical ERP experience, preferably with IFS Cloud, together with a strong understanding of finance processes and financial reporting. This is a hands-on delivery and support role; ownership of Group Finance policy, controls and statutory compliance will remain with the relevant Finance stakeholders.\nWorking Arrangements\nThis is a hybrid role, with the successful candidate expected to work across both home and the designated offshore office in accordance with the agreed working arrangements.\nThe role will normally follow local working hours, but flexibility will be required from time to time to work UK business hours to support key implementation activities, workshops, month-end requirements, go-live support and the resolution of priority issues.\nKey Responsibilities\nIFS Finance Configuration and Support\nSupport the configuration and maintenance of IFS Cloud Finance modules.\nImplement approved changes to the chart of accounts, financial dimensions, posting controls, tax codes, approval workflows and reporting hierarchies.\nInvestigate finance system issues and work with Finance, IT and external IFS specialists to resolve them.\nMaintain configuration records and supporting documentation.\nEnsure system changes follow agreed Finance governance and change-control processes.\nSupport consistent finance configuration across entities in accordance with approved Group standards.\nSupport the configuration of tax structures, VAT/GST rules and local statutory reporting requirements across multiple jurisdictions.\nFinance Reporting\nDevelop and maintain financial and management reports from IFS.\nSupport month-end reporting, balance-sheet reconciliations, management information and Group reporting requirements.\nWork with Finance stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and convert them into practical system reports.\nValidate report outputs against IFS source data and investigate discrepancies.\nSupport reporting tools connected to IFS, including Power BI, Excel and IFS reporting tools.\nHelp reduce manual spreadsheet-based reporting through improved system reporting and automation.\nImplementation and Entity Onboarding\nSupport IFS Finance implementation and rollout activities for newly established and acquired entities and new geographies.\nAssist with finance master-data preparation, mapping and migration.\nSupport opening-balance uploads and reconciliation.\nPrepare test scripts, execute testing and document results.\nSupport cutover, go-live and post-go-live issue resolution.\nReconcile migrated balances and master data between source systems and IFS, investigating and resolving differences before go-live.\nEscalate design, control and policy decisions to the appropriate Group Finance owner.\nFinance Master Data and Governance Support\nMaintain approved Finance master data, including the chart of accounts, dimensions, tax structures and reporting hierarchies.\nPerform data-quality checks and support the resolution of master-data issues.\nProvide system reports, configuration records and supporting evidence for audit and compliance activities.\nApply agreed Group Finance policies and configuration standards, escalating policy or accounting judgements to the relevant Finance stakeholder.\nTesting, Documentation and User Support\nPrepare and execute UAT scripts for finance processes and reports.\nRecord, track and retest defects through to resolution.\nProduce process documentation, configuration records and user guides.\nDeliver system demonstrations, training and knowledge-transfer sessions.\nProvide day-to-day functional support to Finance users and escalate technical issues where required.\nContinuous Improvement\nIdentify opportunities to simplify, automate and standardize finance processes.\nAnalyse recurring issues and recommend practical improvements using IFS capabilities.\nSupport improvements to data quality, reporting integrity, financial controls and month-end efficiency.\nAssist the Finance team with agreed IFS improvement and implementation projects.\nRequirements\nEssential Experience\nPractical experience supporting or implementing an ERP finance system.\nHands-on IFS Cloud Finance experience is strongly preferred.\nKnowledge of core finance processes, including GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, cash management and financial reporting.\nExperience configuring or supporting charts of accounts, dimensions, posting rules, tax codes and finance master data.\nExperience producing financial and management reports from ERP data.\nKnowledge of IFS reporting functionality, Power BI, Excel or comparable reporting tools.\nExperience with data migration, reconciliations, UAT and defect resolution.\nAbility to translate finance requirements into practical system configurations and reports.\nStrong analytical skills and attention to data accuracy.\nClear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to support stakeholders remotely.\nPreferred Experience\nDegree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems or a related discipline.\nPart-qualified or qualified accountant, such as ACCA, CIMA, ACA, CPA or equivalent.\nExperience supporting a UK-headquartered or multinational finance function from an offshore delivery center.\nExperience with multi-entity and multi-currency environments, including the onboarding of new legal entities.\nFamiliarity with month-end close, consolidation and Group management reporting.\nExperience using SQL or other data-query tools would be advantageous.\nSuccess Measures\nIFS improvement, implementation and entity-onboarding activities are completed accurately and within agreed timelines.\nApproved finance configurations and master data are implemented consistently and accurately.\nFinancial and management reports are accurate, reliable and aligned with agreed Finance requirements.\nUAT, defect resolution, documentation and user support are completed to an agreed standard.\nManual activities are reduced through practical standardisation, improved reporting
