There really is a place for you here.\nWe’re looking for a Data Engineer to maintain and support our newly established Azure data warehouse. In this hands-on role, you’ll collaborate with the Applications Team, Finance, the Data Governance & Quality Manager, and the wider IT function to ensure our data remains accurate, timely, and trusted.\nIn a small but growing team, you’ll gain exposure to multiple data domains making this an ideal role for someone eager to learn and grow.\nRequirements\nResponsibilities\nMaintain and enhance the Azure Data warehouse.\nDevelop and maintain ETL processes, data mappings & transformations.\nEnsure data integrity, quality, privacy, and security, in line with client and regulatory requirements.\nOptimise data solutions for performance and scalability.\nAdhere to Interpath’s software engineering best practices.\nAct as a point of contact for business data developing subject matter expertise\nEssential Experience Required\n4+ years’ experience in a data engineering role.\nHands on experience with Databricks notebooks and Azure Synapse pipelines.\nStrong SQL experience (including views and stored procedures).\nExperience of working with APIs to integrate data flows between disparate cloud systems.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.\nThe aptitude to quickly understand information, business models and requirements.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to establish working relationships.\nDesirable Criteria:\nExperience following CI/CD protocols through Azure DevOps pipelines.\nExpertise in Business Intelligence, ideally via Power BI for data visualisation and reporting.\nAwareness of regulated environments, including data legislation and cyber security accreditations (e.g., GDPR, ISO27001, Cyber Essentials).\nExperience of working in a financial services firm.\nValues\nOur four core values are the cornerstones of culture at Interpath and steer everything from everyday decisions to larger strategic initiatives.
