Overall responsibility of all functions that occur within the physical warehouse. Supervisor should be able to ensure that productivity targets are achieved, and all warehouse processes are executing to meet 100% on time and in full key performance indicators. Must be able to manage outbound shipments, dock times, and space utilization, as well as coordinate team staffing.\nThey must have excellent organizational and communication skills at all levels of the company. A keen eye for detail and diligence are also imperative in this role.\nEssential Functions:\nStrategically manage Shipping Warehouse according to Intersand's policies and vision\nOversee warehouse and outbound shipping operations\nContinuously work on space layout and ensure efficient utilization of space\nMaintain tight working inventory of all Finished Good items and provide monthly and yearly reporting\nMaintain a clean, organized, and functionally operational warehouse space with the ability to recognize areas of improvement and lead the corrective action process\nResponsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient handling of Finished Goods throughout the facility\nRepresent the Shipping Department by attending and actively participating in various organization meetings. This includes presenting data, discussing key initiatives, as well as updating team on shared information\nEstablish collaborative working relationship with Manager, Order Revenue & Logistics\nPartner with the Supply Chain Coordinator related to Shipping schedule for maximization of dock time and meeting daily / weekly / monthly targets for inventory shipped and DIOH\nMaintain standards of Safety and Security of Shipping Team in compliance with Intersand Policies and Procedures\nAchieves financial objectives through management of the outbound schedule, and analyzing variances and non-compliances to initiate corrective actions\nProfessional interactions with customers and vendors\nAbility to recruit, orient, coach, motivate, and supervise staff\nAbility to operate a forklift, scissor-lift, and switcher truck.\n High School Diploma / GED required\nSome college or an Associate's Degree preferred\nProven work experience as a Warehouse / Outbound Shipping Supervisor or Leader\nExpertise Warehouse management and best practices\nProven ability to implement process improvement initiatives\nStrong knowledge of Warehouse / Outbound Shipping Key Performance Indicators (KPI)\nPrevious experience with ERP and Scheduling systems\nProficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel)\nLeadership skills and ability to manage staff\nAttention to detail and conscientiousness\nAbility to read, write, and comprehend in the English Language\n Work Environment and Physical Demands\nThis job operates in a warehouse/shipping facility where temperatures vary depending on the season. This position requires standing, walking, sitting, lifting to 50 lbs., carrying, pushing/pulling, balancing, kneeling, and crawling.
