Will receive shipments according to company policy, maintain clean and functionally organized warehouses, and perform ordering procedures as required by the company.\nEssential Functions:\nReceive all incoming materials for essential operations including but not limited to seed, fertilizer, chemicals, paper, pallets and other products and manufacturing components\nUtilize scanners and inventory systems to accurately receive, transfer and track materials\nAssist with monthly cycle counts and verification of materials\nMaintain a clean working environment by cleaning and organizing all components of the warehouses, and reporting any damages or needed repairs appropriately \nStock non-inventoried items such as labels, office and cleaning supplies, and other supplies in collaboration with the Purchasing Manager\nStage all materials for upcoming production for every shift\nCommunicate professionally, accurately and timely to all internal and external customers\nWillingness to learn proper operations of the following equipment items; forklift, scissor-lift, box truck, and yard switcher\nAll other duties as assigned\n Required Education and Experience:\nHigh School Diploma / GED\nProven organizational skills\nCustomer Service Oriented\nKnowledge of warehouse organization strategies\nAttention to detail and conscientiousness\nBasic knowledge of computer including MS Office use and data entry\nAbility to read, write, and comprehend in the English Language\n Work Environment and Physical Demands:\nThis job operates in an office and plant environment within a manufacturing/warehouse/shipping facility with a controlled climate in the office area, temperatures vary in the plant area.
