Ltd. is seeking a Security Engineer to support and enhance our Cybersecurity Program. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining security measures that protect information systems, network infrastructure, and organizational data. This role involves vulnerability management, risk assessments, incident response, security architecture, and compliance activities to ensure a strong security posture across the organization.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport the implementation and continuous improvement of the Information Security Program.\nMonitor security events, alerts, and incidents using Microsoft Azure Sentinel and other SOC/SIEM platforms.\nPerform security incident handling, including alert triage, investigation, containment, remediation, escalation, and incident documentation.\nConfigure, monitor, and maintain Microsoft Azure Defender security capabilities across relevant cloud workloads and infrastructure.\nAnalyze security logs and correlate events across endpoints, servers, networks, applications, and cloud environments to identify potential threats.\nConduct vulnerability assessments, risk assessments, and security reviews across enterprise infrastructure.\nTrack vulnerability findings and coordinate remediation activities with infrastructure, application, and IT teams.\nMaintain information security policies, procedures, standards, and operational documentation.\nInvestigate suspicious activities, security breaches, malware events, unauthorized access, and other cybersecurity incidents.\nDevelop and implement preventive security measures to strengthen security controls.\nConfigure, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain security tools and infrastructure.\nPrepare security reports, dashboards, incident reports, and technical documentation for management and compliance requirements.\nCollaborate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to identify and address security risks.\nSupport security awareness activities and provide cybersecurity guidance to employees and technical teams.\nPerform periodic reviews of security controls and recommend improvements across endpoint, network, application, cloud, and infrastructure environments.\nParticipate in security investigations, root-cause analysis, and post-incident reviews to identify opportunities for improving security operations.\nRequirements\nMandatory Technical Requirements\n3-5 years of hands-on SOC/SIEM experience.\nMandatory hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Defender.\nMandatory hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Sentinel.\nStrong experience in security incident handling and incident response.\nExperience monitoring and investigating security alerts, events, and logs.\nStrong understanding of Security Operations Center processes and SIEM-based threat monitoring.\nExperience with vulnerability management and security risk assessments.\nKnowledge of Information Security, Cybersecurity, and Security Operations.\nKnowledge of security monitoring, threat detection, incident investigation, and remediation.\nUnderstanding of GRC and security frameworks, including HIPAA, HITECH, PCI, and NIST.\nKnowledge of Windows, Linux, and Unix operating systems.\nUnderstanding of security architecture and security controls.\nKnowledge of cloud security, particularly Microsoft Azure.\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.\nOptional / Preferred Technical Skills\nTenable Vulnerability Management (Tenable VM)\nRapid7 / Insight VM\nEmail Security solutions\nExperience with endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools.\nExperience with threat intelligence and security analytics.\nExperience with firewall, IDS/IPS, endpoint, and network security technologies.\nExperience with third-party risk assessments and security due diligence.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in healthcare information security is preferred.\nExperience working in a 24x7 SOC or enterprise security operations environment.\nKnowledge of applications, databases, middleware, and related security controls.\nExperience with security incident investigation and root-cause analysis.\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.\nEducation & Certifications\nBachelor's degree in a related field with 3+ years of relevant experience, OR\nHigh School diploma with 5+ years of relevant experience.\nPreferred Certifications:\nCISSP\nCEH\nGCIH\nGSEC\nMicrosoft Security certifications such as SC-200 / SC-300\nOther equivalent cybersecurity certifications\nKey Competencies\nAzure
