Joining this team means collaborating with experts across disciplines while contributing to projects that shape the future of energy.\nWhat You’ll Do\nDesign and Optimize Energy Storage Systems\nLead a BESS project life cycle from land acquisition to COD\n\nSupport technical negotiations with the BESS OEM, EPCs and their subcontractors\n\nDesign and size utility-scale battery energy storage systems to meet project performance and reliability targets\n\nDevelop and refine performance models to optimize system efficiency and long-term output\n\nIntegrate storage systems with generation assets to ensure seamless operation and grid compatibility\n\nDevelop Power Systems and Infrastructure\nBuild and validate medium-voltage infrastructure calculation tools for large-scale energy projects\n\nSupport power plant design aligned with electrical and safety standards\n\nApply engineering best practices to ensure safe, scalable, and compliant system architecture\n\nCollaborate to Deliver High-Impact Projects\nPartner with cross-functional teams across engineering, development, and execution to bring projects to life\n\nContribute technical expertise to support decision-making across project lifecycle stages\n\nHelp deliver reliable, high-performance storage solutions that align with long-term infrastructure goals\n\nWhat You’ll Bring\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is mandatory, a M.S.EE or PhD is preferred\n\n3-7 years of experience in energy storage, power generation, or similar industries; experience with independent power producers will help you succeed\n\nHands-on experience designing or supporting utility-scale energy storage or large-scale power systems\n\nStrong understanding of grid integration and power systems engineering principles\n\nExpertise in BESS sizing, system design, and performance modeling\n\nExperience developing medium-voltage infrastructure models and supporting large-scale plant design\n\nFamiliarity with lithium-ion battery systems, particularly LFP chemistry for stationary applications\n\nWorking knowledge of NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and other applicable electrical and safety standards\n\nExperience with modeling tools such as PSCAD, ETAP, or similar platforms\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex technical requirements\n\nEstablished connections within the energy storage ecosystem, including OEMs, EPC firms, or power producers, will help you succeed\n\nUnderstanding of energy markets, project development cycles, and performance optimization strategies will help you succeed\n\nA collaborative, detail-oriented work style that enables success in fast-paced, cross-functional environments\n\nCuriosity, adaptability, and a grounded approach to
