This role is responsible for researching and maintaining state and federal benefits compliance requirements, supporting benefit audits, analyzing enrollment and participation data, assisting with communication campaigns, and providing backup support for benefits administration and leave processes.\nHere, integrity, trust and safety are always top of mind. Put in your application today, and allow Interstates to prove to you why we are an Industry Leader in more ways than one. \nResponsibilities:\nResearch and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations related to employee benefits and leave administration, including:\nPay transparency\nState paid family and medical leave\nState paid sick leave\nState employment changes\nSupport internal audit activities, including:\nMonthly benefits audits\nQuarterly funding audits\nAnnual third-party audits for Health and Welfare, 401(k), and Contractor’s Plan\nCompile, analyze, and report benefits data, including:\nEnrollment analytics\nOpen enrollment statistics\nAdditional ad hoc reporting as needed\nSupport benefits communication campaigns, including:\nAnnual preventative campaign\nSemi-annual financial campaign\nMental Health Awareness campaign\nVirtual Benefits Fair\nOpen Enrollment campaign\nProvide backup support for:\nBenefits administration in UKG\nFMLA and leave administration\nAssist with new hire orientation and onboarding related to benefits\nEssential Skills & Experience\n3-5+ years’ experience in benefits administration, compliance, HR operations, or related analytical role\nStrong understanding of employee benefits, leave administration, and applicable state and federal regulations\nAbility to analyze data, identify trends, and prepare reports\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills\nEffective written and verbal communication skills\nProficiency with HRIS systems, preferably UKG, preferred\nAbility to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, communications, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience\nTravel: Able to travel 10% of the time\nWork Environment & Physical Requirements\nDescribe the work setting and any physical demands of the job: Blended Office and Construction Environment\nAll employees, even those in traditional office positions may be expected to visit and/or perform work on job sites, requiring flexibility to adapt to diverse environments.\nOffice work is performed primarily in a modern office setting equipped with collaborative tools and technology.
