APPLY TODAY!\nInterstates Describes Its Culture as: Family-Like: \nCaring co-workers treat each other like family\nBe treated like an individual, not just a number\nFlexible schedules allow you to focus on your personal life as well as work-life\nLunch gatherings and social activities promotes fun and camaraderie\nSupport charities and your community through events sponsored and hosted by Interstates\nResponsibilities:\nServe as the technical liaison between engineering and construction groups\nAssist construction staff and project engineer in validating the project design, through the management and resolution of any project discrepancies or issues\nValidate project design to actual field conditions, equipment requirements, etc.\nCross-check and verify project design documents to eliminate design discrepancies\nReview equipment submittals and validate alignment with project design\nAssist engineering in gathering field information/data to complete design as necessary\nEnsure project design database (InterTrak) is maintained and appropriately reflects the current project scope.\nAssist field construction teams in implementing and meeting project specifications requirements\nEnsure installation details meet manufacturers requirements on electrical gear installations, etc.\nVerify electrical equipment compliance with shop drawings and project requirements, as it arrives at project location.\nAssist with 3D/BIM model coordination and documenting \"as-built\" information\nOther duties may be assigned.\nEducation and/or Experience:\nBachelor's Degree in Construction Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or another ABET accredited engineering program in a similar field\nPreferred Skills:\nExperience with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, etc.)\nExcellent verbal and written communication\nAble to track and organize project and information\nAble to interpret and read documents, such as blueprints, technical manuals, etc.\nAble to prioritize work and deal with stress\nCompensation: The base pay range for this position is $72,000- $82,000. Our salary ranges are determined by the experience and education required, and level of responsibility. The range posted for this role represents a range that Interstates, in good faith, believes it is willing to pay at the time of this posting. The pay is determined by job related skills, training, education, and experience.\nTravel: This position is part of our national traveling team and may be located at job sites throughout the United States. Expect up to 100% travel at various project locations across the United States. Typically, you will be assigned a job location through out the US that you will relocate to for the extent of the project.
