If you want to grow and do meaningful work, you’ll feel at home here. \nThe Infrastructure Administrator is responsible for the administration, support, and security of Interstates’ IT infrastructure. This role provides advanced Tier 2 support and maintains servers, networks, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems. It also manages user access, patching, backups, and routine infrastructure improvements. The position works closely with internal teams and vendors to troubleshoot complex issues and support technology initiatives. The Infrastructure Administrator helps ensure system reliability, security, and continuity of operations. Travel will be required and will vary according to business requirements but is not expected to exceed 35% of the employee’s time. The role may require travel to job locations and other company or project sites to support infrastructure needs and ensure effective technology operations.\nKey Responsibilities:\nAdminister and maintain servers, virtual environments, network devices, and cloud platforms. \nConfigure, deploy, and support hardware, software, and infrastructure services across the enterprise. \nManage user access, permissions, group policies, and account lifecycle processes. \nMonitor system health, performance, and uptime; respond to and resolve escalated issues. \nExecute and improve patching, backup, replication, and disaster recovery processes. \nSupport LAN/WAN, VPN, firewall, and connectivity issues for internal and remote users. \nProvide advanced Tier 2 troubleshooting for infrastructure, system, and application issues. \nIdentify automation and standardization opportunities and document repeatable processes. \nPartner with vendors and internal stakeholders to implement and support technology solutions. \nSupport security controls and compliance requirements. \nExperience and Education:\n3-5+ years of experience in systems, network, or infrastructure administration. \nHands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online. \nExperience supporting virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V. \nWorking knowledge of network infrastructure, including switches, routers, VPNs, and firewalls. \nExperience with patch management, backups, disaster recovery, and software deployment. \nExposure to cloud and hybrid environments. \nExperience with scripting or automation tools such as PowerShell preferred. \nStrong troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and vendor collaboration skills. \nBachelor’s degree in IT-related field preferred, or equivalent experience. \nWhat We Offer:\nOpportunities for professional growth and career advancement.\nEngaged, collaborative teams and a culture focused on innovation and quality.\nSupport for licensure, continuing education, and professional development.\nInclusive environment with competitive benefits.\nTravel: Travel will be required and will vary according to business requirements.
