If you want to grow and do meaningful work, you’ll feel at home here. \nProject Manager - QA/QC - Data Center Construction (Travel)\nLocation: Based on jobsite in Muskogee, OK (Travel Role)\nWe are seeking an experienced QA/QC Project Manager to lead quality assurance and quality control efforts on a large-scale data center project. This role is responsible for ensuring electrical installations are executed safely, meet contract requirements, comply with applicable codes and specifications, and are completed right the first time.\nWorking closely with project leadership, field teams, clients, commissioning partners, and subcontractors, you'll help drive quality throughout every phase of construction-from planning and installation through testing, turnover, and final closeout.\nHere, integrity, trust, and safety are always top of mind. Apply today and let Interstates show you why we're an industry leader.\nResponsibilities\nLead project-wide Quality Assurance and Quality Control efforts for electrical construction on a mission-critical data center.\nDevelop, implement, and maintain project quality plans, inspection processes, and documentation requirements.\nPartner with Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, Engineers, and field teams to ensure installations meet project specifications, NEC requirements, client standards, and manufacturer recommendations.\nConduct quality inspections, audits, and field walks throughout construction.\nTrack deficiencies, manage punch lists, and ensure timely corrective actions.\nCoordinate inspections with clients, commissioning teams, engineers, subcontractors, and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs).\nReview construction documents, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings to identify quality risks before installation.\nSupport pre-installation planning and constructability reviews to improve execution.\nVerify documentation required for testing, commissioning, and system turnover is complete and accurate.\nMonitor installation quality throughout all phases of the project-not just at completion.\nIdentify recurring quality issues, determine root causes, and implement corrective and preventative actions.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives by developing best practices and coaching field personnel.\nParticipate in project meetings while providing quality updates, issue tracking, and resolution plans.\nPromote a culture where safety and quality are integrated into every aspect of project execution.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nExperience leading QA/QC, quality management, field engineering, project management, or electrical construction on commercial, industrial, or mission-critical projects.\nStrong understanding of electrical construction methods, NEC requirements, quality standards, testing, commissioning, and project turnover.\nExperience with mission-critical or data center construction is highly preferred.\nAbility to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, submittals, and technical documentation.\nStrong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.\nExperience managing quality documentation, inspections, punch lists, and turnover packages.\nAbility to build strong relationships with field crews, clients, subcontractors, and project leadership.\nExperience with Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, Bluebeam, or similar construction management software is preferred.\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred. Equivalent electrical construction or QA/QC experience will also be considered.\nCompensation\nBase Pay: $100,000 - $135,000\nOur salary ranges are determined by experience, education, and level of responsibility.
