This role is critical in ensuring that security is embedded into platform design and operations as InterSystems expands its SaaS and cloud footprint.\nKey Responsibilities\nDefine and lead security architecture across cloud, datacenter, and SaaS platforms\nEstablish security standards, patterns, and best practices aligned to enterprise and Managed Services operating models\nOwn the standardization and strategic selection of core security platforms and tooling across the organization (e.g., identity, secrets management, network security)\nDrive consistency in implementation of technologies such as Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, HashiCorp Vault/Terraform, and Palo Alto across environments\nLead complex security initiatives and cross-functional programs spanning product, infrastructure, and operations teams\nServe as escalation point for critical security issues and incidents, driving resolution and root cause analysis\nDrive adoption of zero trust principles and modern security frameworks across all environments\nPartner with compliance and risk teams to ensure adherence to regulatory and customer security requirements\nMentor engineering teams and influence technical direction across the organization\nRequired Qualifications\n10+ years in security engineering and/or architecture roles\nDeep expertise across multiple security domains (IAM, network security, cloud security, data protection)\nStrong experience designing security architectures in hybrid and multi-cloud environments\nHands-on experience with modern identity platforms (e.g., Microsoft Entra ID, Okta) and leading their enterprise standardization\nExperience with secrets management and infrastructure security tooling (e.g., HashiCorp Vault, Terraform), including defining enterprise patterns\nStrong knowledge of network and perimeter security solutions (e.g., Palo Alto firewalls, cloud-native security controls) and driving standard configurations\nProven leadership in large-scale, enterprise-wide security initiatives, including toolchain rationalization and standardization\nExperience supporting regulated environments (e.g., healthcare, financial services) preferred\nExcellent stakeholder communication skills with the ability to engage at executive levels\nInterSystems is providing a current good faith estimate of the anticipated base salary range for this position depending on a variety of factors including experience, education, skills, and performance.\nOther compensation may include a discretionary annual variable target incentive.\nThe company also provides generous employee benefits including:\nMedical, vision, and dental insurance\nShort-term and long-term disability, and life insurance\n401(k) Profit Sharing Contribution\nPaid Time Off and Holidays\nParental Leave\nTuition reimbursement\nThe estimated base compensation range for this role is:\n$135,000—$194,000 USD\nAbout InterSystems\nInterSystems, a creative data technology provider, delivers a unified foundation for next-generation applications for healthcare, finance, manufacturing, and supply chain customers in more than 80 countries.
