Work within a team of likeminded IT professionals to implement cutting edge solutions.\n Duties & Responsibilities:\nThe duties initially assigned include, but are not limited to:\nContribute as a technical specialist in a dedicated agile Automation team focused on development and support of continuous integration systems.\nDesign and build testing tools dedicated to the automated validation of a robust healthcare system.\nInfrastructure management of cloud and locally hosted resources, including creation and maintenance of automated build and test environments.\nProvide support to cross functional agile development teams.\nDevelop non-functional and structural testing strategies to validate application performance, security, and interoperability.\nIdentify functional and non-functional issues in application from design through to validation.\nOther duties may be directed by the company from time to time.\nRequirements:\n5+years professional experience in software automation, tooling, or related engineering roles.\nProficiency in multiple programming and/or scripting languages. (e.g. Python, Java, JavaScript, PowerShell, Bash, TypeScript).\nExperience developing automation tools, frameworks, or scripts for:\n- End-to-end testing for web applications\n- Software deployment\n- Build and release processes\n- Environment provisioning\nKnowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).\nGood understanding of the SDLC and software testing principles.\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines and automation of build, test, and deployment workflows.\nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to design reliable, reusable automation solutions.\nA flexible and adaptable approach to learning new methodology, technologies and software Products.\nExperience responding to end-user requests and bug reports.\nPreferred:\nExperience with agentic AI development\nExperience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and automating cloud resources.\nGood understanding of Linux/Unix environments and basic system administration concepts.\nProficiency with SQL and/or data structures.\nExperience in leading large-scale projects with departmental impact.\nEducation and Training\nTertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.\nWe are an equal-opportunity employer and do not discriminate because of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, ancestry, marital status, veteran status, age, disability, sexual orientation or gender identity or expression or any other legally protected category.
