Each interface or task is documented from a functional and technical point of view including the functionality provided, connectivity requirements and technical aspects of the interface or task. Interface documentation may be used to provide a business case for a new interface or to document an interface that is to be delivered as part of a contract.\nImplementation of the interface including unit and system testing.\nDocumentation of the “as built” interface including technical set up and any related dependencies.\nSupport of the interface including changes required to interface requirements over time.\nSystem Management\nTechnical specialists may be required to:\nInstall and configure the TrakCare solution in multiple environments and servers on a project-by-project basis\nUpdate TrakCare installations with the latest version.\nApply application patches and ad-hoc releases.\nDevelopment\nTrakCare is developed primarily by InterSystems TrakCare developers however occasionally there is a need for Technical Specialists to undertake customer specific development for example development of reports or data extracts.\nManagement\nLiaise with client or business analyst regarding ongoing enhancement requests. \nAdvise and assist the Project Managers during implementation.\nManage the resolution of any outstanding acceptance issues before and after project go-live.\nGeneral Operational\nProvide support on the TrakCare data dictionary.\nProvide advice and best practices to clients for technical areas such as networks, configurations, architectures etc.\nProvide technical support for troubleshooting and performance analysis for reports, stored procedures, interfaces, data conversions, data migration scripts and user defined features and functions.\nMonitoring and responding to Technical Team calls on the support ticketing system.\nProduction of training materials for technical courses such as system, custom development or reporting.\nProduction of technical documentation such as reference materials, installation instructions, user guides, knowledge base articles.\nResponsible for participating in on-site technical training if required.\nResponsible for participating in on-site technical implementations if required.\nResponsible for participating in the on call 24-hour roster service during implementation.\nOther duties may be directed by the Company from time to time.\nExperience and Qualifications\nKnowledge of SQL, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, REST APIs, JSON and XML.\nFamiliarity with Python or shell scripting for automation and data tasks.\nFamiliarity with Git, automated testing, CI/CD and containerised deployment. (desirable)\nExperience with data analysis and database methodologies.\nExperience with Microsoft Office.\nBe able to design and write technical documents.\nWell versed in Internet / Intranet concepts and Microsoft IIS.\nExperienced in customer focused support.\nProven ability to lead and deliver results as required within specific time frames.\nGood presentation and communication skills.\nAbility to conduct training and develop training materials.\nAbility to work within a team in a cross departmental environment.\nAvailable for out of office hours work and willing to travel.\nKeen to learn new technologies and new applications.\nKnowledge of AI, machine learning and generative AI concepts, capabilities and limitations.\nAbility to use Company-approved AI tools for documentation, development, troubleshooting and data analysis, and to validate outputs.\nUnderstanding of responsible AI, including privacy, security, patient confidentiality, bias and human oversight.\nExperience of delivering applications to the healthcare sector.
