Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.\nIn addition to competitive compensation packages, when working with Intertek you can expect benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k) with company match, generous vacation / sick time (PTO), tuition reimbursement and more.\nWhat you will do:\nInspect and review projects to monitor compliance with all applicable parameters\nOversee calibration, maintenance, service, and occasional modifications of all equipment and acoustical chambers\nAcoustical laboratory accreditation\nAcoustical laboratory quality assurance\nCommunicate technical information \nTesting, as assigned\nReview and thoroughly understand contract requirements and document any deviations\nCommunicate with clients on test preparation, procedures, progress, results, and reporting matters\nOther duties as assigned\nWhat it takes to be successful in this role:\nHS Diploma or GED, Engineering related degree preferred\nGeneral working knowledge of test equipment, test methods, and applicable specifications associated with acoustics\nTechnically competent to effectively communicate acoustic testing procedures, specifications, and results with technicians and customers\nWell-informed on applicable industry organizations, codes, and specifications\nAbility to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nGreat interpersonal skills\nHigh level of computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Pro\nAbility to travel as business needs dictate, estimated 5-10% of time may require travel\nAbility to routinely lift 50 lbs over the course of an 8-hour day\n Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record (required)\nIntertek: Total Quality.
