In this role, you will be the first point of contact for existing and potential clients, playing a critical role in generating new business opportunities. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator with a passion for sales, strong organizational skills, and the ability to build relationships quickly.\nShift/Schedule: 8 am to 5 pm EDT, Mon Thru Fri, with occasional nights and weekends. Successful hire is expected to work at least one day, weekly, in office.\nTravel: This position will travel at least 90% of the time.\nSalary & Benefits Information:\nIn addition to a competitive compensation package, including sales incentives, for this salaried position, when working with Intertek, you can expect benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k) with company match, generous vacation / sick time (PTO), tuition reimbursement and more.\nWhat You'll Do:\nMarketing and selling of inspection and laboratory testing services\nRepresenting the company daily to the client and as required on business occasions relative to marketing services, i.e. Trade show participation\nSupports sales management plans by maintaining effective customer relations and assuring continued market penetration and profitability by making in-depth calls to end users to achieve sales objectives\nIdentifies and evaluates possible new markets and new customers for existing products\nIdentifies and evaluates possible new products that fit our capabilities related issues (i.e. pricing and product availability)\nEvaluates and reports customer feed-back. Resolves customer service-related issues (i.e. pricing and product availability)\nGenerates contracts, quotes, and orders for customer as required, utilizing internal business processes\nGives input for sales forecast (quarterly / yearly)\nGenerates monthly sales activity log through client tracking system.\nReviews pricing of products as required and discuss client feedback relative to the industry.\nInvolved in the development of quality marketing materials.\nImplements customer-specific action plans.\nTravel to visit customers and / or industry events. \nIntroduces new products and services to the accounts, both within the Caleb Brett division and unilaterally to all other divisions.\nDevelops new customers and performs other tasks as assigned by the Manager.\nPerform other work as required.\nMinimum Requirements & Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\nPossess and maintain a valid driver’s license with a reliable driving record\nPreferred Requirements & Qualifications:\n2 years + Petroleum Logistics or Sales experience preferred \nProficient use of Microsoft Applications including PowerPoint, Publisher, etc.\nSelf-Starter with Excellent Communication, Organizational, Interpersonal, Time Management, and Selling Skills\nIntertek: Total Quality.
