The position assumes that the incumbent has both the mental and physical requirements to carry out the above defined duties.\nMinimum Requirements & Qualifications:\nExperience working hands-on, doing physical labor, in an outdoor work environment\nExperience working in the construction industry (or relevant)\nValid driver’s license and reliable driving record\nMust possess, or be able to obtain prior to hire, a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card\nMust be able to obtain and maintain client-required site access credentials, including petrochemical and port facility access\nMust meet all Intertek and client site pre-employment requirements, including but not limited to criminal background, urinalysis, and hair follicle drug test\nPreferred Requirements & Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\nConstruction Material Testing (CMT) experience\nACI / NICET Certifications\nPlant experience\nPhysical Work Requirements:\nAbility to receive detailed information through oral communication (hearing) and to make the discriminations sound\nAbility to kneel and squat occasionally\nAbility to walk and stand for long periods of time\nAbility to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions, including hot and cold temperatures\nAbility to climb occasionally, and work at various heights\nAbility to lift, move, push and pull 30 to 49 pounds frequently; Occasionally, over 50 pounds with assistance\nIntertek: Total Quality.
